After spending quite a few very rainy days sitting out the weather in Gulnare Inlet we decide to just go for it and take Peanut up the creek in search of a potential cyclone bolt hole. It’s absolutely beautiful with mangroves, Norfolk pines and giant fruit balls!
The rain just doesn’t cease.
We have a small fire on board which kills our depth sounder and as we are in a very shallow, tidal creek we decide to brave the 45 knots of weather and head out of the inlet to safer water.
Oh, and Wendy bakes the most amazing loaf of bread!
