Magnus makes a start on converting our existing staysail into a furling one. He begins by removing the old bolt rope, which is too small, and then sewing in a new one, making various repairs to he sail along the way.

We head out to Happy Bay but are thwarted by the tides and end up in completely the opposite direction at Woodwark Bay.

The hot water system gets a bit of TLC with much needed new hoses and Magnus does a bit of housekeepings too.

In a howling 40 knot wind, we manage to fit the Reefurl furler to the staysail and then, after a couple of lovely days away, we head back to Airlie in high winds, yet again!

Thanks for watching.

Until next time…

Wendy and Magnus
