We set sail for the Tuamotu Islands in French Polynesia, but Nikki’s allergic rash is getting worse! We decide to sail directly for Tahiti, thankfully the winds cooperate and it’s an amazing last day at sea.

OK, so the titles isn’t exactly accurate…it wasn’t all perfect seas, but I couldn’t title the video:
“Big Waves, Big Rainstorms, No Wind, Flying the Spinnaker, Nikki’s Face is Super Swollen from her Allergic Reaction and Jason Sorta Freaks Out Because of the Perfect Sea Conditions of Downwind Sailing with the Spinnaker”
That title doesn’t exactly flow off the tongue, but that’s passage making. One minute your down and the next you’re flying high as a kite.
This video picks up where our last sailing video left off: Halfway through day 3 at sea with less than a day left to make landfall in the Tuamotu Islands of French Polynesia. But Mother Nature isn’t really cooperating and neither is Nikki’s immune system.
So grab your foul weather gear, some anti-itch cream and push that play button. Let’s go sailing!
