An often asked question is what cameras I use and how do I get the mast top shots. So here it is!
Gopro Hero 2 and Gopro LCD + for action shots around the boat from different angles.
Gopro Hero 4 Silver for when I talk to the camera, cause the camera itself can be placed in a socalled Gopro-frame and with a Goproe soundmuffler this gives great sound without any disturbing wind noice when recoording. Therefore it is best suited as a “talking” cam.
Nikon D600 DSLR camera is perfect for shots of the nature around the boat, waves, birds, skyes, other boats/ platforms etc. It provide incredible depht and focus to the pictures and has a bunch of features that are way over my head, but im learning every day.
