WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO OUR BOAT? Sooo many changes!!
So many great days swimming, snorkelling, diving, kyaking and having fun with friends around Palawan. It had to come to a end, sometime! From Palawan we made our way to Subic Bay just North of Manilla. It used to be a large US Navy Base and still has a huge amount of naval activity. We measured up for new decking and then got stuck into pulling the old decking up. We also extended our hulls by 400 mm which added 675 kg of bouyancy to our boat. We moved our lithium batteries and inverters from the helm to under the saloon floor to better distribute the weight and to make the batteries, inverters and navigation electronics more serviceable. And we had some suncovers made for our windows. Then it was time to head off to Japan.
