💙 MERCH 💙
Over the last couple of weeks we have been sailing the south coast of Puerto Rico. We reached our final anchorage here in La Parguera and have been prepping for next long sail to Jamaica, then onto our final destination, Guatemala to escape hurricane season which is already here.
We have been waiting a week now for the winds to calm down and finally we have a decent, yet somewhat light wind weather window, and as much as we would love to stay and explore more of puerto rico, we can’t wait any longer, since storms are starting to form and puerto rico is right in the path of hurricanes. Since filming this Hurricane Fiona has hit this exact spot we are leaving from and left so much destruction in her path. We are grateful we made the decision to leave, but our thoughts are still with all our friends and people of Puerto Rico as they face a long road of recovery ahead.
Our lives are dictated by weather, something we rarely paid attention to before we got Saoirse. Rain, wind, storms, were just minor inconveniences in our day to day. Now our lives DEPEND on us following the weather and getting our boat and us to a safe location, safely as possible.
Enjoy the show!
