If you’ve been following our sailing journey since the beginning you’ll know that we’ve been living on an all electric sailboat for 3 years, Saoirse. Meaning, she doesn’t have a diesel engine or a propane stove. We get most of our power from the sun via our 700 watts of solar panels. When we first started we didn’t know what to expect, what we were going to like, or if any of it was going to work. After almost 3 years and 5200 nautical miles sailed, we have put our system through a good trial period and we are going to tell you about it. Specifically, what we like and what we would like to change.
