We sold our house, bought a sailboat and are exploring the incredible cruising area on Canada's west coast. Catherine and I are grateful to be living, working and playing, in the traditional territories of Skwxwu7mesh (Squamish) Indigenous People. We sail on a 2014 Hanse 415. Based out of Squamish, British Columbia Canada, we are in love with sailing and can't wait to experience all the West Coast has to offer. In this episode, the big story is Catherine’s injury while putting in a stern tie. She fell and cut her leg on an oyster shell on a rock. We managed to get it dresses and closed and monitored closely. We were able to continue our trip but it was uncomfortable for her for a couple days and she wasn’t able to swim… The good news is that it has healed up well and we enjoyed our time in Desolation Sound before moving on to Cortes Island.
