The ball bearings in the main sail cars on our boat are not captive. This short technical video shows how we removed the cars without loosing any ball brearings by using short sections of 3d printed sail track.

We sold our house, bought a sailboat and are exploring the incredible cruising area on Canada's west coast. Catherine and I are grateful to be living, working and playing, in the traditional territories of Skwxwu7mesh (Squamish) Indigenous People. We sail on a 2014 Hanse 415. Based out of Squamish, British Columbia Canada, we are in love with sailing and can't wait to experience all the West Coast has to offer.
