This is what happens when you live on a boat
We’re back at Middle Percy Island! 🌴⛵
After a pretty disastrous start to our stay — blocked toilets, hungry kids, a BBQ fire, burnt dinner and a very rolly anchorage — things finally started looking up!
We explored this remote little slice of Queensland, visited the working homestead, met the animals and even stumbled across another cruising family who we had no idea would become very special friends.
There’s something pretty special about reaching somewhere so remote that the only way to get there is by boat. Living aboard with two kids definitely isn’t always easy, but moments like these are exactly why we do it.
So come along as we explore Middle Percy Island, enjoy some family time and hopefully prove that when boat life gives you lemons… you can still come right! 🍋⛵
