We get to explore the wonderful town of Green Turtle Cay with our friends and just like that, we lose our friends to their own adventures...

We start our install of the Seawater Pro Watermaker which would desalinate the ocean water and provide us with drinking water and allowing us to be independent.

As we get ready to celebrate our first New Years on the boat, we start to search for the perfect spot to bring in 2022.

Whenever we tell people we'd like to full time cruisers, one of the first things the saltier sailors mention is the importance of having a watermaker.

Unfortunately we discover an issue with our windlass that will have to be fixed. We make final decisions about our plans for the next week and head on out.

Our Turtle is a 40 foot 1993 Caliber who has had 7 owners before us and has even been salvaged once. Join our adventure as we travel the world!

Going back to the US so soon was never in the cards. But alas, the universe had other plans for us.

As we get closer to splash day, it is time to finish up the smaller projects that took a backseat to the massive osmosis project of the last two months.

After a failed splash, we pick up our hearts and spirits and try to tackle the new leak we found in the fastest possible time.

Part 2 of our galley remodel is our countertop. We take off the old laminate and sand off the countertop and then tackle the replacement of our sink.

The final result is glorious. Our countertop shines like marble at a fraction of the cost and weight and upkeep.

Our freshwater system has been a mess since we got Turtle and we are very very excited to switch the whole system over to PEX and Aqualock (Seatech) system.

We've been away for a bit because of health reasons but we're back! We take a trip to New Jersey to visit family.

We dive deeper into completing the big galley refit by getting the new sink all set in so that we can install the faucets and run all the lines.

Just as we start to get traction on projects, we have to stop all work and get Turtle back into Battle Mode!

Post Hurricane Ian, we jump right back into the massive galley remodel. We make an incredible amount of progress including making a FORBIDDEN CAKE of foam!
