The Day That Everything BROKE! - Sailing Turtle

We dive deeper into completing the big galley refit by getting the new sink all set in so that we can install the faucets and run all the lines to the freshwater manifold. We also get the big parts of our new nav station area done: Two new countertops, one removable and one fixed to serve as extra counter space as well as a sliding shelf meant to hold our 75 Liter Dometic Freezer. It is all precision work being done in a very unprecise environment and we hope it all comes together in the end. Just as we feel that we’ve been making an incredible amount of progress, we get dealt with hit after hit of things breaking in our galley. The first is the brand new sink which we put in a ton of work into and then, even more devastating in a way, our brand new epoxy countertop cracks!
