In this episode we fully get our hands into sheathing. Making even the stickiest of projects fun. We are so thankful for our amazing neighbors and now very close friends. Tyler, Garrett, and I have a work-trade agreement, trading hours on each others project. This camaraderie is exactly what we all ...
A huge thank you to Sender Sailing for lending me their computer to edit this video as mine crashed. This is the second time I've put this episode together! Thank you to all of you, subscribers and patrons, who waited for this video. I'm indebted to so many people who helped make this poss...
We are getting closer to real time. This is the last of the redo projects! We are currently working on the sheathing, the episodes are about 2 months behind. Redoing the bulwarks was one of those projects you get mostly done and then realize you should probably wait until the boat is in the water to...
My longest video yet. So to those who complained about episode 33 being too short...careful what you wish for ;)
I'm really happy with this video. It was tricky to start and figure out how I wanted to show what we've been doing the last several months. While doing the cabin remodel we...
We did it! Just about 2 months and the cabin redo is complete. I'm also pretty proud I got Part 3 to you in 2 weeks!!!! Working full time on the boat and getting into a rhythm with the videos. We're picking up pace too! We're hoping to see that water before fall.... :D
Thanks everyo...

Moving right along and the first thing that needs to get done is sealing up Rediviva's hull. I cannot wait to roll on that first bit of finish paint. Yard life is treating us well. Being able to commiserate with fellow sailors and their never ending projects as well is comforting knowing we...
Thanks for watching, following, and supporting!
In this episode we're sanding the masts, emptying the boat, looking for boat parts, and oh yeah trying to take it easy ;)
The boat makes it to Napa! She's so close to a wide open bay when she's ready for sea trials. We've been located here in the San Francisco area before so we're really happy to back near friends, family, and boats. We decided to move the project before completion because the w...
Hello all you beautiful people, it's been a while!
Episode 26 takes us through the very exciting and long day of loading the boat for transport. David, with Associated Boat Transport, really made this experience for us. We know our friendship will continue for years to come. Thanks David! Ther...

Trying to find the balance between work and sailing.
Having the opportunity to remember what life on a moving boat is like was really refreshing. Garrett is a boatbuilding sailor where as I am a traveling sailor to ...
Moving on and moving forward. Erecting the cabin walls and getting close to putting in bulkheads! Much shoveling was needed to free our masts from the weight of the snow that accumulated quickly from the shed run off. The snow was so dense it actually pinched the shed hard enough to make it lean...

Finally the episode is complete! I struggled with this one. Sorry guys... Not only because I had started on it and then my computer crapped out and I had to start over but because this winter was really hard to be reminded of. Especially...

I'm really happy with how this video came out. I had a lot of fun putting this one together. I can't complain when we are starting two major steps towards getting the boat completed. Rediviva really transforms into a home.
Enjoy!

We tackle the stringers in this episode. They are added structural supports for the bottom planking as well as added surface area to fasten the planking to the hull. For the most part getting these up was a big pain in the butt! They are long and awkward making it hard to see one another at opposite...
Once again my poor tiny Mac couldn't handle exporting the video in full HD.... but here's the new video! The quality is not too bad. We are getting so close with the topside planking but unfortunately Garrett's back is out once more for time number three. We are making the best of it ...
In February we successfully acquired our engine. She is a Westerbeke W52 motor. We were able to get a good deal and the drive out wasn't too far. She now sits on the lawn awaiting the day we lift her into the shed and onto her permanent mounts in the boat!
Ruth here:
I assembled some of my favorite photos over the last year and came up with some sort of summary commentary to hopefully sum up the build so far. This took longer than I thought to compile. I first thought of just throwing every single picture in and flashing threw them quickly like a spee...
