WE sail away to Hawaii! Our first week aboard the Schooner Wolfhound, we begin to get a feel for life on a large monohaul sailboat heading from Mexico to Hawaii.
On this weeks episode, we settle into our first week aboard with light variable winds as we head south in the trades hoping to push us all the way to Hawaii. Low winds and crystal clear blue Pacific waters we encounter a pod of dolphins playing at the bow of the boat.
We reach a small protected island about 700 km off the Western Coast of Mexico and witness a beautiful baby humpback and mama swimming around. In hopes to get a closer look, we try to get in the water but were quickly told by authorities that it wasn’t allowed!
