This episode is a very exciting one where we finally get to actually swim with some of our favorite underwater neighbors- the Humpback Whales!

Mo’orea is one of the few places on earth that its possible to actually get in the water with these giant whales, and its been made possible by a marine biologist named Dr. Michael Poole, who spearheaded the legislation necessary to create an environment that is safe and comfortable for whales to have us in the water with them. We were also lucky enough to get to interview Dr. Poole and outline in this video the rules and regulations here in French Polynesia. We are hoping that by following and sharing these rules with other cruisers and those who sail here, we can provide a platform that will ensure our ability to swim with these majestic animals for years into the future!

After all that excitement, we park the boat and fly to Annapolis, Maryland for the famous Annapolis Sailboat Show, where we get to not only meet fans and Patreons, but also rub shoulders with many other sailing channels like Sailing La Vagabonde, Sailing Delos, Sailing Parlay Revival, and many more YouTube sailing channels!
