Making DIY Carbon Fiber Tables for Our Catamaran!
In this video, we’re taking on a whole new boat project, as we start to build custom carbon fiber tables for our catamaran.
Since our old rear cockpit table was another warranty fail, and the upstairs one is less than impressive, we decided to do some boat DIY and make new tables. Instead of teak or fiberglass, we've gone carbon fiber and foam, designed to be lightweight, strong, and perfectly suited for life at sea.
You’ll see how we shape the foam cores, reinforce the hinge areas, and prep everything for a flawless carbon layup. One table folds neatly away to save space, while the other features a custom, non-standard shape designed specifically for coach-roof.
