I recorded a short, personal update from the cabin today.
Right now I'm anchored in Caudan Marina, Mauritius, and every day I pull plastic out of the water around the boat. It's not the first time — sailing through the islands, I've seen pollution again and again, on shores that should be untouched.
It raises a question I keep coming back to: is this a governmental issue, something for policy and infrastructure to fix — or is it also on us, individually, to do something about it?
