During my stop at the beautiful Cocos (Keeling) Islands, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gary. He invited me into the radio studio on West Island for an interview on The Doc and the Duchess Show.

This is a local radio program from Cocos (Keeling) Islands. The show brings together conversations about health, wellbeing, community, and interesting stories from people connected to the islands and beyond.

During this interview we talked about the mental and physical challenges of solo ocean sailing, how to stay resilient during long periods at sea, and what I've learned after thousands of miles alone on the world's oceans.

I also shared a simple yet powerful tool for building mental fitness—one that anyone can use in daily life.

Whether you're a sailor, an adventurer, or simply interested in personal growth, I hope you'll enjoy this inspiring conversation.
