Join me, Jacqueline Evers, on my epic journey around the world aboard my 27-foot Grinde, Loveworkx.
Preparing for my circumnavigation in 2022 I'm crossing the English Channel solo for the very first time — from IJmuiden in the Netherlands to Lowestoft on the English coast.
The weather was kind, the North Sea surprisingly gentle. But just as I was approaching the entrance, before navigating between the sandbanks, a bolt broke off the alternator. No drama, no panic — I brought her in calmly on my own power.
How I solve the problem? That's for the next video.
Stay tuned for my next video about fixing the alternator and getting Loveworkx ready to sail again!
