🌊 My journey from Auckland kicks off with a scenic Intercity Bus ride to Wellington, where I explore the vibrant capital of New Zealand. From there, I hop on the Interisland Ferry to the stunning Marlborough Sounds, arriving in Picton. Next, I take a bus to Christchurch and board the iconic Transalpine train, heading to the wild west coast of the South Island. In Greymouth, I travel south to Hokitika for a picturesque beach walk, then on to Franz Josef for canoeing on Lake Mapourika, a thrilling Fox Glacier hike, and a bike ride to the breathtaking Lake Matheson, where the mountains reflect perfectly. The trip concludes with a visit to the stunning Lake Hawea.
