9 Knots at Night on a 27-Foot Boat | Sailing Solo to Mauritius – Ep. 284
As Loveworkx accelerates across the Indian Ocean, I’m sailing at 7, 8 and sometimes 9 knots through the night.
But the fast sailing comes with challenges. Sails need changing, hanks get stuck at exactly the wrong moment, and I have to prepare for the stronger winds that are coming.
This is what solo ocean sailing really looks like: speed, sail changes, problem-solving and constant preparation.
