Fresh out of the boatyard and back in the water! After wrapping up crucial maintenance and servicing our saildrive we were ready for some chill time on anchor in La Paz, but boat life had other plans.
Within 24 hours of splashing, a sudden change in conditions turned the anchorage into complete chaos. Watch as Armand jumps into action to tow and rescue a disabled vessel and how a USCG licensed captain made a series of bad calls, snagged a line in his prop, blew his engine, and began taking on water. We cap off the wild day the only way we know how: homemade pizza, a glass of wine, and prepping for our next big challenge... the rudder. Lesson of the episode: don't put your vessel at risk just to be a hero.

If anyone says living on a boat is a vacation, they’re lying or they’ve never lived on a boat 😂😂
Don’t get us wrong, we love living on Cosmo but it’s definitely not all sunshine, rainbows and pina coladas on deck. More often it’s chasing down sources of leaks, basic errands taking 4 times as long, figuring out how to fix something, sweaty humid cabins, and constantly checking weather forecasts ...
