📍 Refugio on Isla de la Guarda Angel to Bahia de los Angeles to Santa Rosalia🌊 Sea of Cortez, Mexico
After wrapping up our time in Refugio, it was finally time to start heading south. We sailed back through Canal de Ballenas and made a quick stop in Bahía de los Ángeles to restock before setting off on a 120+ mile passage to Santa Rosalía.
But this wasn't just another passage. Our friends aboard SV Perspective had left a week before us, and we decided to keep our plans quiet and surprise them in Santa Rosalía.
With favorable conditions, we enjoyed a beautiful sail down the coast, including some fantastic spinnaker sailing and another unforgettable sunrise at sea. The passage went smoothly, the surprise was a success, and everything seemed to be going perfectly...
...until it was time to dock.
