We’re down to the wire.
Splash day is in 3 days and our catamaran Zola is still on the hard with a mountain of projects left — from rudder repairs to saildrives, bottom paint, and a surprise invoice that nearly broke us.
This week in the boatyard has been one of the most stressful and expensive weeks of our lives, but we’re determined to get her back in the water and ready for the Bahamas.
Watch as we push through exhaustion, bad luck, and last-minute chaos to make it happen.
⛵ Boat projects this week:
– Replace through-hulls and seacocks
– Service saildrives & shaft seals
– Custom rudder bearing repair
– Sanding & bottom paint
– Install underwater lights + AC Airlock units
💬 We’d love to hear your best (or worst) boatyard stories in the comments. Misery loves company 😂
