Footage of the Clipper Race 2017/18 Departure from Liverpool on the first leg of the Clipper Round the World Race to Punta Del Este in Uruguay.
The race start was on the River Mersey and involved a run from the International Start Line near Albert Dock upriver to Pluckington cardinal and then a turn around a nearby temporary mark and then down the Mersey and out to sea on the outgoing tide.
