You couldn’t have picked a worst week to go sailing!

It was the middle of August but you needed both fleeces and coats if you wanted to keep warm and dry and it was blowing a F4-5 gusting 6 much of the time. Even the most die hard sailor would rather have just stayed at home but none of this stopped all the kids at this year’s junior week having a fantastic time.

It says a lot about the kids but even more about the club. Its a club that is run by its members for its members and the volunteers who took time out of there own lives to help teach these kids how to sail did the most amazing job.

Elizabeth is one of those children who is just naturally scared of anything new to start with, and wasn’t really sure what to expect. But even before the week had ended she had made sure that Mummy had it written into next years diary because she loved every minute of it and plans to come back again next year for more.
