It was saturday the 9th of May and Wilsonians sailing club held its annual open day. This year's event was as well organised as ever and saw loads of club members helping out. Ian volunteered and was tasked with taking visitors out in one of the clubs ding...
As many of you may already know my mother is currently undergoing treatment for her second form of cancer. My godmother, who we all call Auntie Cathy is currently very, VERY ill with it and Izzys god mother, Auntie Jenny, has also recently been diagnosed ...
There is lots to do, but we thought we would start with the electrics. At least this way we will have some working lights to help with the other work that needs doing, which invariably gets done after work... in the dark
Things are coming along. The electronics are nearly done, although until we get the mast up they cant be completed.
So we are now sorting out the rest of the stuff inside, this is just an update on progress so far.
It was an overcast but other wise pleasant evening with a nice gentle breeze from the west and an incoming tide so we all decided to go for a sail on daddy's Blaze dinghy.
