Episode #271 : Season 9 : The South Pacific
Hello Friends,
On this episode I finally get a chance to explore the island of Huahine after the storms pass. I took in the views and tried to image Captain James Cook’s boat, Resolution anchored near to Triteia sharing the same view! I then made my way walking around the island visiting the ancient religious mareas before making to the freshwater creek that is home to the famous sacred blue eyed eels. It was incredible to see these creatures (again… after first seeing a few in Moorea).
I walked a total of 17 miles that day and my legs were worse for wear for a few days after!
