This project is one of the HARDEST and also most CRITICAL parts of the build. Today we're tackling the fabrication of our crossbeam and longeron, and if you're scratching your head and asking what in the world is a longeron...don't worry you're definitely about to find out! It's already a tricky enough process as it is, but we encounter a few more bugs in some of the components and we have to do a bit of improvisation. But as always Dan and the team don't miss a beat, and we're able to get creative and work through it all! The problem solving process of building and maintaining a boats is something I truly love...of course there are times I'm swearing and questioning our life decisions, but the feeling when you crack the code and see it all come together is really like nothing else!
