The day we've been waiting for is finally HERE! It's been an incredibly cool and incredibly challenging process to get the boat to this stage, and after 14 weeks of grueling labor we've finally made it to one of the biggest milestones of the build: THE FLIP! We've been building Delos 2.0 upside down to let gravity help us out with all the welding, but now that all the bottom parts of the hull are finished we're ready to flip her right side up, a task that is no small feat. We bring in a team of cranes and seasoned Aussie pro's, and what ensues is one of the wildest things I've ever seen with my own two eyes. We felt both feelings of excitement and accomplishment, along with a TON of nerves as our dreams and savings dangled in the air from a 60 ton crane. So buckle up and get ready for one heck of a ride in this week's episode!
