You think a girl has it easy onboard a sailboat? Before and even after we drop anchor, the sailing boat life can come with a certain set of difficulties.
In the boat everyone is equal, regardless if you are a girl, you still have to do the same task a the captain. For our life onboard we need to find water. Long distance sailing also requires us to get fuel on our sailboat and what happens when there is too little wind? Plans can be made but we cannot control the weather. And even once we anchor in a protected anchorage, we are not always safe from a sudden, severe storm.
Follow us on SV CUBA as we sail west, on a tight schedule. Will we make it across the Atlantic this year? Travel with us each week to find out!
