Welcome to Episode 3!
This week we do a LOT of sailing (well, motor-sailing). We leave Falmouth Harbour in Antigua to head up to Jolly Harbour. En route we spot a simmering volcano on Montserrat and our SUP explodes! (More on this in an upcoming episode). We then head to Nevis for one night before taking advantage of a rare southerly wind to make the passage north to St Barts.
Several days are spent at anchor outside Gustavia, the capital of St Barts. The water is crystal clear and the town is wonderful- a sophisticated blend of France and the Caribbean- but once the wind swings around to the south-east, the anchorage becomes very rolly and uncomfortable and it is once again time to move on.
