We SHOULD NOT have SET SAIL TODAY! [Ep68 RED SEAS]
We should not have set sail today! It was one of those days when everything went wrong and what should have been an easy short passage from one island to the next was a gruelling slog. We got slammed by some terrible thunderstorms in Curacao and then had a scary night time exit from the lagoon before our autopilot decided to give up on us as soon as we set sail. We had to hand steer the whole way on short shifts just to get through the night. But as the sun came up and the dolphins welcomed us into Aruba, all was forgiven - we even survived the dreaded arrival onto the customs dock!
