Our steering cable snapped when we were offshore, sailing across the Pacific. We tied our broken steering cable together with the dyneema bolt rope from our head sail and carried on for another 2000 miles before we reached Tahiti and could repair it properly. Fingers crossed this new one holds up as we continue on our journey in some of the most remote places in the world!
