After spending a little bit too long in the country that we loved so much, we were fined for overstaying our visa and given a strict deadline to leave the country with only 7 days notice. That’s not a lot of time to prepare for a 4000nm ocean crossing!

We rushed around Panama City for a week, buying enough food to last us six months, filling our boat up with diesel and preparing all our paperwork and visas for French Polynesia. At last, I think we're ready to set sail!
