Sailing from Port Camargue to San Remo along the French Riviera, with a detour to the Îles du Frioul, boat jobs in St Tropez and a marina in Antibes. Sailing Queen Lizzy — liveaboard life aboard our Bali 4.6 catamaran in the Mediterranean.
We're Anne-Lill and Dean, an Australian couple sailing our Bali 4.6 catamaran across the Mediterranean — slowly building toward the big one: an offshore passage through French Polynesia and maybe home to Sydney. Real liveaboard life, no filter, no fluff.
We leave Port Camargue heading for Marseille and end up at the Îles du Frioul. We stop at Porquerolles, St Tropez makes us work for it, and there are a few boat jobs on the way. Then it's on to Antibes for better weather and a marina, past Eze, an anchorage off Menton, and the sail into San Remo.
There's also an afternoon snack in Antibes, which helps.
We're Australian, we probably should have known better, and we are sailing into Italy anyway.
