Leaving New Zealand was WAY More Stressful Than We expected
Have you ever wondered how much there is to do before making a 7-10 passage across an ocean. We are back in Whangarei getting lots of tasks accomplished. One reason we love Whangarei is that most everything is within walking distance so we defiantly got our steps in!
We are a suburban blended family that has raised our 3 older children and now want to travel the world. After planning and saving for the past 6 years, we are now embracing our dream of sailing around the world on our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran. Follow our journey as we Circumnavigate the Globe in 3-4 years on a budget of $4,800/month (food, communication, fuel, insurance, transportation, mooring/marina & fun). We left the USA in October 2023 and plan to visit 26 countries on 5 different continents all while worldschooling a budding teen in our off grid tiny house.
