Upgrading Our Boat's Electronics with Victron! Cerbo GX & Tank Monitor Install
Ep. 160 ~ This week on the boat, we’re diving into a fresh round of sailboat upgrades as we continue living full-time aboard and sailing through the Mediterranean. In this episode, we share what it was like installing a new Victron Cerbo GX, connecting our black water tank monitors, and setting up a sleek new Victron display screen to help us better keep tabs on our boat systems.
It’s not a tutorial — just a glimpse into our real-life experience tackling these upgrades ourselves, with all the wins, challenges and learning moments that come with it. From feeding wires in tight spaces, this is just another week in the life aboard our floating home.
We also finally received our long-awaited lithium battery cells — after more than two months in shipping limbo! That means we’re one step closer to building our DIY lithium battery bank, which will power our life on the sea with more freedom and reliability.
