Ep. 171 ~ Join us as we continue our sailing adventure across the Mediterranean! In this episode, we sail from Preveza to the beautiful Greek island of Corfu. As full-time liveaboards, our catamaran is both our home and our way of exploring the stunning coastlines, ancient history, and vibrant cultures of the Med.
Our first stop is Petriti, a quiet fishing village on the southeast side of Corfu, where we anchor for the night and enjoy a peaceful evening aboard. The next day, we continue north and drop anchor beneath the historic Mon Repos Mansion. From there, we head ashore to wander through Corfu Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with Venetian architecture, cobblestone streets, and the impressive Corfu Fortress.
Living on a catamaran full time means every stop is a new adventure, and this journey to Corfu highlights the freedom of the sailing lifestyle. After exploring Old Town, we set sail at sunrise for Sarandë, Albania, where we check in and prepare for the next stage of our Mediterranean journey.
If you dream of retiring on a sailboat, traveling the world by sea, or want inspiration for boat projects, sailing life, repairs, and upgrades, this channel is for you. We share what it’s really like to cruise the Mediterranean one destination at a time.
