Ep. 152 ~ Join us for an unforgettable sailing adventure in the Greek Islands! In this episode, we sail our full-time liveaboard catamaran from Lefkada Island to Fiskardo on the stunning island of Kefalonia, exploring beautiful places and ancient sites along the way. Tied back (stern-to) to the rocks in Fiskardo, we set off on foot to discover the Venetian lighthouse and ruins of a historic Byzantine basilica. From there, we drive the scenic mountain roads to Argostoli, spotting majestic sea turtles in the harbor and taking in panoramic views from the cliffs above Assos and Myrtos Beach—some of the most breathtaking vistas in the Ionian Sea.
We also venture into a little-known gigantic sea cave near Foki Beach, that was to be a mine, where we encounter bats and giant spiders—real raw Mediterranean nature! This video captures the essence of the sailing lifestyle, full of freedom, discovery, and beauty, as we live and travel full-time aboard our sailboat in the Mediterranean Sea.
