Ep. 126 ~ In this episode, we check out of the country with Port Police, Customs and Immigration and leave the beautiful city of Ayvalık, our last stop in Türkiye. After a few unforgettable months in this incredible country, it’s time to check out and sail just a few hours away to our next destination: the Greek island of Lesvos. Join us as we navigate the process of clearing out of Türkiye before heading to Mytilene, Lesvos, where we'll check into Greece with our dog through customs, immigration, and the port police.

We’ll be spending a few weeks in Mytilene, soaking up the Greek culture and exploring the town while waiting for the perfect weather window to cross the Aegean Sea to the stunning Sporades islands—coming up in the next episode!

If you're sailing in the Mediterranean and need help figuring out how to check out of Türkiye or into Greece, feel free to leave a comment or contact us via our social media channels. We’ve added useful links below for fellow sailors looking for tips on the check-out and check-in process.
