In this Germany travel vlog, we explore Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Regensburg and Walhalla on a winter Bavaria day trip while taking a break from life aboard our sailboat.
We’re a full-time liveaboard sailing the Mediterranean, but during the colder months we swap sea legs for walking shoes and explore historic cities at a slower pace. This episode takes us from the hilltop monument of Walhalla overlooking the Danube, to the colorful medieval streets of Regensburg and finally to the storybook town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber—complete with town walls, towers and surprisingly quiet views.
