Sailing into Esperance we arrive at Bandy Creek ready to explore the southern coast of Western Australia where we for a first have to watch out for horses swimming across the marina entrance. Riding our scooters into town we get a hire car and explore some the beautiful beaches around Esperance. After our short stay we head out to Woody Island where we get picked up by Uber Maritime and taken to shore. After having lunch and a quick walk around the island, we head towards O'Brien's Beach where we find there are 30 knot winds accelerating around Mount Le Grand so we move to Cape Le Grand Beach for more protection. Chris notices movement between the 2nd & 3rd furler extrusion tube join, so we remove our headsail in preparation to completing doing repairs in a remote location.

WHO ARE WE?
We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022.
We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
We are just an ordinary Aussie couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams.
