E43 - The Dash To The Top, Cape York Australia
In our first video in our new season, we head off to the tip of Australia, Cape York in convoy with 2 other boats SV Laylah and SV Alicat, on our circumnavigation of Australia. We do not spend a lot of time sight seeing on our way to the top as we are retracing our steps from the previous season, and we want to get to the Kimberley's sooner for us to have as much time as possible before the next cyclone season starts in December.
We stop at Townsville and check out the forts and wildlife once again, drop by Morris Island and see crocodile tracks on a lovely inviting sandy beach (although Chris does his best to deny them for as long as possible), before we make it to Pioneer Bay on Albany Island, just short of the top of Australia.
