We set sail for the stunning and remote Surin Islands, but the journey wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. As we made our way north, we had to dodge fishing boats dropping traps right across our path, keeping us constantly alert. ⛵⚠️
Once we reached this breathtaking marine park, we were rewarded with crystal-clear water and vibrant reefs—a diver’s paradise. 🐠🌴
This episode also marks an exciting milestone for us: we used our dive compressor for the very first time, running it entirely off our inverter aboard No Regrets 2. It worked beautifully and gave us total freedom to dive off the boat without needing to go ashore for fills.
From the tense sail in, to our most remote dive yet, this was a day we won’t forget.

Hey there! We’re Chris and Jo, an ordinary Aussie couple living our extraordinary dream aboard our Seawind 1260 since January 2019 and now we continue from 2024 aboard our new 1370!
Our adventure began with an unforgettable journey down the east coast of Australia, followed by a sail to the stunning New Caledonia. In 2020, we continued our exploration further north, and by 2021 and 2022, we circumnavigated Australia, discovering breathtaking locations along the way.
Having previously owned fishing and water-skiing boats, our passion for sailing deepened after crewing in South Australia, leading us to make the leap into full-time living at sea.
