E151 - Checking In Port Resolution Tanna, & Fixing A Broken Reef Line
We return to Noumea to reprovision for our time in Vanuatu. We shop at the huge Geant Shopping Centre before clearing out of New Caledonia making the trek around the harbour visiting Immigration, Customs and Harbour Master. We sail overnight to Port Resolution on Tanna Island and check in with the officials. After breaking our reef 1 line we manage to retrieve the end inside the middle of the boom, and a few adventurous sailors have lunch at a tiny local restaurant, some not entirely sure what they just ate!

WHO ARE WE?
We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022.
We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
We are just an ordinary Aussie couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams.
