We head to Goolwa beach for a little cockling (collecting Pipip's) and check out Australia's longest river, the mighty Murray and the mouth to sea which is being dredged to keep it clear. We walk the Goolwa Barrages and find plenty of seals sunning themselves. Getting up early we drive to Whyalla to see the incredible giant cuttlefish aggregation, where thousands congregate to breed in the only place on earth where they aggregate predictably on mass. Returning we stop at Port Germein, when it was built the longest timber pylon jetty in the southern hemisphere.

WHO ARE WE?
We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022.
We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
We are just an ordinary Aussie couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams.
