196 - New Crew & Secret Caves. One Last Thailand Adventure
We’re kicking off our final sail through Thailand with fresh energy—and fresh crew! 🇦🇺⛵
In this episode, we begin by modifying our deck shade for better sun protection, then welcome Brenda and Marty, who fly in from Australia to join us aboard No Regrets 2.
Before heading out, we fuel up, complete a rigging check, and prepare the boat for one last adventure through Phang Nga Bay.
Our first destination? The incredible secret caves of Ko Phanak—accessible only at low tide. We explore narrow tunnels, paddle through quiet hongs, and discover caverns we completely missed on earlier visits.
Then, we make our way back to Chana Beach, a favourite calm anchorage, and end our Thai chapter with a trip to the vibrant Phuket Old Town Night Markets—our final taste of local culture before clearing out of the country.

Hey there! We’re Chris and Jo, an ordinary Aussie couple living our extraordinary dream aboard our Seawind 1260 since January 2019 and now we continue from 2024 aboard our new 1370!
Our adventure began with an unforgettable journey down the east coast of Australia, followed by a sail to the stunning New Caledonia. In 2020, we continued our exploration further north, and by 2021 and 2022, we circumnavigated Australia, discovering breathtaking locations along the way.
Having previously owned fishing and water-skiing boats, our passion for sailing deepened after crewing in South Australia, leading us to make the leap into full-time living at sea.
