This week we take a dive deep into the engine room (when I say we, it’s mostly Kieran, okey only Kieran). I am busy with other things, stay tuned. Kieran spends hours in the small room, taking the engine apart bit by bit. Finally understanding what has caused all our issues with the gearbox. Last step is to remove the engine all together to give it a proper birthday. Hopefully with all this maintenance both the engine and gearbox will run smoothly in the future when we finally put Merewether II back in the water.
This life we keep chasing on the ocean is a long way off at the moment but we feel with hard work and the right people behind up we can get there. As we peel the layers back there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel and it could very well be to an ocean sailing paradise haha.
