Canoe camping in Canadian winter!

Don’t tell everyone… but yes, the west coast of Canada is a pretty special place! We don’t often get snow in winter –– and though sunny days are rare, we do get a few of those. Aladino and I took advantage of the latest sunny days to go for a canoe trip! Although we’re not on a sailboat here, canoes were actually what got me started in the world of boats. My parents used to take me out canoeing to the hundreds of little islands just off the coast of BC. You could explore this coast for a lifetime and still find something new every year. It’s a pretty special place.
